After
house jobs at Huddersfield and Jimmy's, Jo did six months as a paediatric
SHO in Bradford before joining the psychiatric rotation in Leeds. She
married Ian in 1984 and joined the Yorkshire SR rotation in Child and
Adolescent Psychiatry in 1985. Jo made use of her free time on the SR
scheme to have two children, Laura now 14, and James 12, before moving to
Mansfield as a Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in 1990.
After a couple of years it was time for another career break so Katie was
born in 1992. Since then Jo has continued as a full time consultant and
service manager as well as attempting to manage an ever more demanding
family.
